ALL NEW: Coos County Dips Into Timber Savings Account

Coos County is dipping into a savings account to avoid big reductions and tax increases in next years budget.

The county plans to spend about $101 millionĀ in the next fiscal year.

Of that, $5.4 million will come from a savings account built from the counties timber industry.
