ALL NEW: Jackson County To Host Forums on Local Gang Problems

Jackson County's law enforcement and youth agencies are gearing up to host a number of community forums to discuss the counties gang task force.

The county would like the residents to attend one of ten forums to fill out a survey about how serious they believe the gang problem is locally.

Officials will use the data to help decide where to place gang prevention resources.

Below is a list of the meeting times, all of which will take place between 5:30 and 6:30 pm.

Thursday, July 26: Eagle Point Library.

Monday, August 6: Ashland Library.

Thursday, August 30: Jacksonville Library.

Monday, September 10: Medford Library.

Monday, September 24: Central Point Library.

Wednesday, October 24: Shady Cove Library.

Tuesday, November 13: Rogue River Library.

Thursday, November 29: White City Library.

Wednesday, December 12: Talent Library.
