ALL NEW: Josephine County Officials Find Missing Woman Dead

On Wednesday, the Josephine County Sheriff's office received information from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office regarding a reported missing person.

June Rice was the missing person in question and reportedly left her house at an adult foster care facility on north Applegate road.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office received the report after information that an elderly female was seen on an electric wheelchair in Jackson County.

Once the sheriff's office learned that Rice was missing from a residence in Josephine County, search and rescue personnel started their search.

The Josephine County Sheriff's Office confirmed a report from a citizen who found a deceased female near the river in the 7,000 block of Williams Highway.

Sheriff Gilbertson says that the person was June Rice.

Rice reportedly suffered from a stroke.
