ALL NEW: New Tax for Oregon Pre-Paid Cell Phone Users?

Prepaid cell phone users may have to pay an additional monthly charge if Governor John Kitzhaber has his way.
 
That the Kitzhaber administration wants to add an additional 75-cent-a-month tax on prepaid cell phones to help support 9-1-1 services.

Regular cell phone and landline customers already pay the tax. Several cellular companies including T-Mobile and Verizon are against the tax fearing prepaid customers won't pay up, leaving the companies to pay the tax themselves.
