Ashland Ordinance Prohibits Wildlife Feeding

A new city ordinance in Ashland now makes it illegal to knowingly feed deer.

The city approved the ordinance on Tuesday and also includes a ban on feeding raccoons, bears, and wolves among other animals.

If found feeding wildlife, residents could face a Class 1 violation resulting in a $435 fine.
