An Eagle Point man is behind bars this morning after police say he threatened Food-For-Less employees with a knife.
Just after 6:30 am Monday morning, Medford police arrested Leonel Olvera-Hernandez after receiving reports of a shoplifter fighting with employees.
Witnesses say the man was caught shoplifting cold medicine and a key ring. When confronted about it, Olvera-Hernandez pulled out a knife, and told employees he had a gun in the car.
He now faces robbery in the first and second degree as well as theft in the third degree.
his bail is set at more than 2 million dollars.
