Crews Investigate Grass Fire West of Medford

The Medford Fire Department was kept very busy Sunday as a large fire rushed towards residents.

Around 6 Sunday evening, a running wild land fire pushed towards homes near Jacksonville.

Bellinger lane was closed on both sides, to keep vehicles from traveling through the affected area.

According to officials, the fire was stopped before it could cause damage to any homes on the hill.
