Health Insurance Exchange Program Grant

Oregon has received a 226-million dollar federal grant to set up the Health Insurance Exchange Program.

The funds come from the U-S Department of Health and Human Services. Officials say the money will be used to build an online market place for health insurance. The program will be up by 2014.

An open enrollment period starts this October and runs through march of 2014.
