Released Inmates Are Re-Arrested

Josephine County has gained national media attention because of a failed tax levy and deep cuts to the criminal justice system. The county jail was forced to release 39 inmates, some who have failed to report to their parole officers and others who have been re-arrested.

    I always thought it was the city,county and state to protect the citizens that live with in. Maybe if some of our leaders would take a pay cut it would help But I think GREED is the most important thing here. And they stated the cost of renting beds is so high they could buy them for a lot less and save money there. Also who is getting a kick back on the rentals???
    But whayy do I know, do they think we are all blind??
