Water Level Worries

The Army Corps Of Engineers expect to stop releasing water from Lost Creek Lake because of the lack of precipitation.

The Corps says water levels at Lost Creek Lake are where they should be, but with the ten day forecast ahead they'll have to slow the release of water into the Rogue River. Also, snow pack is about forty percent less than where it should be but we dont just rely on snowpack. That's why they hope to get a couple of big storms by Spring- to fill those lakes by May 1st. Forecasters say it's too early to tell if we will have drought problems, but the US Drought Monitor is there for a reason. http://www.oregon.gov/OWRD/WR/drought.shtml
