Overnight Carport Fire Evacuates Entire Apartment Complex

Officials are working to determine the cause of an overnight carport fire, threatening nearby apartments, and causing mass evacuations.
      
We're told several calls were made about a structure fire off West Main street, just before 2:30 Monday morning.

Four engines from the Medford Fire District, along with a Jacksonville crew were on scene, on Oak Grove road in Medford.

Officials say there's nothing suspicious about the blaze yet.

There are no injuries to report.

The investigation continues into just what caused the blaze.
