Photo of Floating Dock Called A 'Facebook Misunderstanding'

A big misunderstanding of a picture posted on Facebook caused quite the stir Monday.

A picture of an apparent second tsunami dock was posted on to the Facebook page of the Tillamook Headlight Herald on Monday.

The US Coast Guard sent two helicopters to follow up with the picture and found nothing.

It wasn't until after the buzz started that the reader clarified that the picture was taken by his friend back in June.

The Tillamook Headlight Herald described the situation as a 'Facebook misunderstanding.'
