School District Adds More Days To School Year

Students in the Central Point School District will be in class an extra 11 days in the coming year.

The funding for the added days is due to a higher than anticipated ending balance this year.

The district was also given increased state reimbursements.

Each added day costs between $115,000 to $120,000.
