Thieves Steal Chevy Pickups

Police are investigating a string of vehicle thefts. All of the vehicles were pickups between the year 1980-1990 and all were Chevrolet models.

The Thieve(s) are still out there an police both in Medford and Central Point are asking for the public's help in locating the people or person responsible for a rash of vehicle break-in's. Sometime in the morning hours of the weekend at least five pickup trucks- all Chevy models from 1980-1990 were either stolen or broken-in-to and robbed of their stereo systems and other items. People in a Central Point neighborhood where one truck was stolen say they feel violated. There, a North Meford High School student had spent six weekends working on his 1989 Silverado, adding custom work to the tailgate and prepping it for paint. The truck was supposed to be his senior project, due in only a few days but that all changed. He and his family woke up to police knocking at the door informing them of the vehicle theft. Police still have not found the person responsible. If you have information police would like to hear from you.
