Supermarket Recalls Ground Beef

A northern California supermarket chain has been forced to recall all the ground beef at one of its stores after an employee reported finding bits of a chewed up pen in the store's meat grinder.

West Sacramento-based Raley's Supermarket issued the recall of ground beef products at its Antioch store over the weekend.

Only a small amount of meat that had been processed at the store was actually sold before the recall went into effect.

No word on any injuries.
