The Chocolate Festival

Chocolate lovers all over our area got their cocoa fix today in Ashland.

The 8th annual Oregon Chocolate Festival kicked off today -- and people were out in full force enjoying the decadent sweets.

For small chocolatiers just starting up -- this event is about more than just sampling chocolate. They say it's good for business. Sjanna Sharbatz, of Cakery Kisses told us, "We've heard so many people say this is amazing and how they've never tasted anything like this before, they love it, they're buying it, it's really exciting for us."
There are more than 50 vendors at the event and it will continue into tomorrow.

Tickets are 20-dollars and can be purchased at the door at the Ashland Springs Hotel.
