Thirty Residential Burglaries

Police Warn Residents

Police are asking that North Valley residents on Upper & Lower River Road be watchful following thirty recent burglaries.

Detectives believe several people are involved in the burglary spree's and several different vehicles.  In the past two months, thirty homes have reported robberies. Several of them have reported three people using a particular tactic. The group has one person knock at the door, if there is no answer, the two others break in. If there is an answer at the door, the person is said to tell the home owners that they lost their dog or that their car has broken down. Tonight the Josephine County Sheriff's Office asks residents to be extra cautious when answering the door and report all suspicious activity that you see. As a result of the robberies, the suspects are said to have made off with weapons, jewelry, cash, and other valuables and may be armed. Below are just a few of the vehicle and suspect descriptions.

ASSOCIATED SUSPECTS:  1.
White female, approximately 35 years old, 5'5"/150 lbs., dark hair clipped in a bun, last seen wearing a black coat and dark-colored pants  2.
White male, approximately 35 years old, last seen wearing a flannel shirt  3.
White male, approximately 35 years old   DESCRIPTION #2: ONE SUSPECT IN CHRYSLER HATCHBACK  SUSPECT VEHICLE: Early 2000's model 2-door Chrysler hatchback, silver  ASSOCIATED SUSPECT: White male, 20-25 years old 6'2"/200 lbs., no facial hair, short hair, clear complexion Last seen wearing blue baseball cap and dark-colored jacket
