Debris Washes Up On Washington State Beach

Officials are trying to determine if debris that washed up on a Washington State beach is from the 2011 tsunami in Japan..

A park ranger at Cape Disappointment in Washington came across the 19 foot long pipe yesterday. It is about 3 feet across and is capped at the ends. Officials say there are no markings to indicate that it came from the tsunami but they are checking the seaweed clinging to the outside for invasive species.
