Mazama Vikings Women's Basketball To Play for 4A State Title

After defeating Brookings Harbor on Wednesday, the Mazama Vikings Women's basketball team knocks off Cascade Christan to advance to the 4A state title game tonight at Gil Coliseum agains La Grande.

Megan Morris of Cascade had 15 points for the Vikings but it just wasn't enough.

Austyn Lowder led the Vikings with 13 points and 11 rebounds while Alix Biddington added 11 points.

The Lady Panthers meet Saint Mary's Academy at 8:15 Friday night up in the Rose City.

South has not lost to a 6A team from Oregon in over two seasons.
