Sisters, Ore. — Oregon State Police are reminding everyone to be cautious of deer on highways.
Monday morning OSP says a Cadillac Escalade was traveling west on Highway 20 near Sisters when a deer ran across the highway. The deer crashed through the windshield.
The 79-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and the deer died from the impact.
October is a peak time for deer migration in Oregon with the most car accidents involving deer than any other month.
