Medford, Ore., — A man is now charged with attempted murder, after turning himself into Medford Police, and taking them to the crime scene.
Medford Police say they received a call from a security guard at the Medford Center after 64-year-old Emanuel Milton said he stabbed someone.
Police say Milton took them to an apartment on the 1800 block of Crater Lake Avenue.
Inside, they found a 62-year-old victim with multiple stab wounds.
“People will confess crimes to us when we’re interviewing them about things, but it’s not typical that somebody comes to us, and reports the crime prior to us even being aware of it.” said Sgt. Geoff Kirkpatrick.
MPD determined Milton intended to kill the victim after learning he was in a fight with the victim over a woman.
Tonight Milton is at the Jackson County Jail for attempted murder and assault.
