Caught on camera: shoplifting fail

(NBC News) Police are still searching for a shoplifter who was stopped in his tracks while fleeing the scene, running right into a SUV on surveillance video.

In the video you see the suspect running out of a South Carolina Walmart, looking back to make sure he isn’t being caught. But he doesn’t appear to be paying attention once he hits the doorway, tripping and nearly falling face first into a SUV.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Office say the suspect was carrying $40 worth of meat while fleeing the business.
