Chihuahuas race to raise money and help support FOTAS

MEDFORD, Ore.– A local animal shelter held its annual chihuahua race to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and help other small dogs find their forever homes.

This is the 9th year the Friends of the Animal Shelter has held the event. Howiee’s back alley was turned into a race track as residents cheered on their favorite dogs.

Organizers say it’s a great way to have fun and help other small dogs in need.

Raffle tickets and other race merchandise sales will all go to support FOTAS.
