Darkwing Manor sale

Medford, Ore., — Medford’s award-winning Darkwing Manor haunted people for years before officially closing its doors in 2014.

But over the weekend, they said goodbye to over 30 years of memorabilia.

It’s not your grandma’s yard sale. Owners of the haunted house Tim and Tina Reuwsaat sold everything they had stored up that would give visitors the spooks.

From creepy masks to a hand carved horse-drawn carriage, it all had to go.

“Tension and anxiety every year making sure we put on a good show, so there’s a relief. But it’s also emotional to see the things go, but they’re all going to good homes so we’re happy about that,” said Tina Reuwsaat.

The haunt attracted thousands of visitors each year and benefited a handful of local children’s charities.

The Reuwsaat’s say many of their infamous props were sold to Medford’s Randall Theater.

If you want a piece of the history and didn’t make out to the sale, they still have things available, just reach out to them on Facebook.
