GP museum may display art from 15-year-old killed in crash

Grants Pass, Ore., — Malaki was set to show off his creativity in an art show at the Grants Pass Museum of Art.

The “Best of the Best” Art Show covers 17 high schools throughout Jackson and Josephine County.

Each school can enter ten pieces, Malaki’s work was one chosen to represent Grants Pass High School.

Hyla Lipson, the Executive Director of the Museum, says though she isn’t in charge of the displays – she thinks having Malaki’s piece would be a wonderful addition.

“I think it would be really nice to put it separately so that it’s on it’s own, and maybe have a little story about who he is, and have some pictures of him and his family.”

The exhibit begins on April 7th and will last all month long.
