500 seed packets donated to local organization

500 SEEDS PICMedford, Ore. — A Rogue Valley organization dedicated to feeding the hungry in Jackson County just got a big gift.

On Saturday, the Grange Co-op in White City donated 500 seed packets to P. Annie’s Secret Garden.

The organization grows fruits and vegetables at four different locations in Jackson County, and gives away the produce to people in need.

“This is going to really help us in our next season following, as well as this season, because we can still grow greens and other things like that,” Founder Brooke Sanders said.

P. Annie’s Secret Garden works with local veterans, senior citizens, disabled, and low income families in the valley. For more information, click here.
