Medford, Ore. — If you’re looking to get rid of your Christmas tree, a local Boy Scout troop will pick it up for you.
Troop 7 is planning to pick up trees in most of east Medford this Saturday, January 2nd and also January 9th from 8am to 3pm.
The scouts delivered tags to place on trees for pickup shortly before Christmas. Trees will be cut into firewood for scout camping trip and the waste will be recycled.
