Grants Pass want law enforcement improvements, according to survey

320x180_20208P00-KKCHPGrants Pass, Ore. — A new survey shows some Grants Pass residents want to see an improvement in law and code enforcement.

A draft of the survey, released at the Grants Pass City Council meeting Monday, shows between 10 and 20 percent of respondents would like to see improvement.

59 percent, of the more than 400 people surveyed, suggested using lottery money or adding taxes to help improve public safety.

64 percent rate the police service as good or excellent.
