Medford Fire and Rescue responds to 40 calls in 24 hours

640x360_51130B00-DLAOIMedford, Ore. — Sunday and Monday was a busy for Medford Fire and Rescue.

According to their Facebook page, crew members responded to 40 emergency calls, including three for structure fires. One was a fire on a porch on Table Rock Road. Crews made sure the fire didn’t enter the rest of the structure.

Another fire was put out this morning near the 7-11 at McAndrews and Crater Lake Ave. There was minor damage at the wall where the fire started and smoke damage throughout the building.

No one was injured and both fires are under investigation.
