The investigation will continue in La Pine, Oregon after a fatal pedestrian-involved crash closed down highway 97 for hours last night.
The crash even had a local connection too– Medford resident James Fry was driving on highway 97 near mile post 167 when someone walked into Fry’s lane.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
Highway 97 was closedfor 3 hours while the crash was being investigated.
Fry is not facing any charges at this point.
