Medford, Ore. — Medford Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a Purple Parrot early Saturday morning. Just after midnight, officers were called to the 800 block of Central Avenue in Medford.
Purple Parrot employees called 911 and reported the robbery. Officers arrived within minutes, but the suspect had fled the scene.
In a press release, police said a man entered the business, and demanded cash. Employees reported he was armed at the time, although it’s not clear what kind of weapon he had. The suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He’s described as a 30 to 40 year old man, 5’8″, with a medium build. If you have any information, you are asked to call Medford Police.
