Phoenix man missing for nearly 20 days

Phoenix, Ore.–Steven Halverson has been missing for close to 20 days. “Steve if you’re out there and you don’t want to come home just call us so we know you’re okay…We love you.”

Dawn Sheppard is begging for her baby brother, 46-year-old Halverson to come home. “Everybody’s been out looking for my brother and we cant seem to find him,” said Sheppard.

Inluding his Mother, Lorraine White who said her home is quiet without him around.

White said it was on August 17th, she was cooking brunch at her home on Luman Road in the Bear Creek Mobile Estates in Phoenix when she heard the front door open and her son left.

“That was the last we have seen of him or heard for him,” said White.

White and Sheppard said it’s even scarier to know he’s been gone for so long because he has medical issues.

“He is insulin dependent he didn’t take anything. It’s been going up or down and he can have a stroke.”

And said he left without the essentials. “It’s just weird because my brother don’t leave no where without his phone, no clothes, no cigarettes.”

Sheppard and White hope that with the help of Phoenix Police the mystery about where their beloved brother and son is, will be solved.

“I’d like to know that Steven is okay,” said White.

“I pray to God everyday for answers. I’m hoping that we find him and that he’s okay,” said Sheppard.

Halverson’s mother said he has a tattoo of a marijuana leaf on his right calf and that she thinks he was wearing a green Oregon Ducks hat when he left.
