Spring Whale Watching Week kicks off Saturday

Depoe Bay, Ore. — Spring Whale Watching Week begins next Saturday, and the the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the public to take a look. The festivities are running from March 24-31.

Gray whales are migrating north along the coast this time of year. Trained volunteers are available on sites around the coast of Depoe Bay from 10 a.m. — 4 p.m. each day. The Whale Watching Center in Depoe Bay will be also open be open during those hours.
