Students to walk-out Thursday morning

Medford, Ore. — North Medford High Senior, Aaron Brown-Moore said he’s fed up with the two week teacher strike. So he decided to take matters into his own hands

Wednesday Browne-Moore and his Varsity Basketball team mates metwithplayers from the other team, South Medford High.

“We got into one room to really combine our ideas to show, hey, even though we might not bond on the athletic field or on courts we can get together and show that we believe in one thing and we can get it done together,” said Brown-Moore.

And that one thing;organizing a walk out for Thursday morning, Brown-Moore even tweeted about it. Right when substitutes take attendance, Brown-Moore says whether you go to North or South, get up and walk out.

South Medford Sophomore Jasmin Falls said she wants the strike to end now.

“We want our teachers back and we all want to be back in the classrooms with quality education and not watching Netflix in the library.”

Both teams said they’re disappointed teachers and the district still have not reached an agreement andhope this walk-out will teacher their teachers a lesson.
