Wave Energy Bill Making Waves in Salem

In the Oregon Senate, a bill that would require wave-energy companies to prove assets has passed unanimously.

The bill would require companies to show before they begin a project that they can financially afford to remove their equipment from the ocean, within two years of decommissioning it.

The bill is now heading to the House for approval.
