Woman arrested following elude, hit and run crash

Central Point, Ore. —  A woman is in police custody after officers said she tried to elude them in a traffic stop, and crashed into another car.

Around 2 PM Sunday afternoon, Central Point Police say they attempted to pull over this gold SUV for a traffic violation near Marilee street. Officers said the car didn’t stop, and after a short time, police ended the low-speed pursuit. Officers said before the vehicle disappeared, it hit a parked car, and then took off.

Medford Police were able to locate the car, broken down on Sage and Rossanley road. Carol Kinsella was arrested on charges of elude, hit and run, and reckless driving.
