Medford, Ore.- A jury has found a California man guilty of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
The Jackson County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday morning Virgil Don Rucker was found guilty of 13 criminal charges, including two counts of Rape in the First Degree, Trafficking in Persons and Promoting Prostitution.
According to court documents, the crimes happened in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and at least one victim was under the age of 16.
Several charges are Measure 11 crimes with mandatory sentences. His sentencing is scheduled for August 30.
