Medford Police’s advice to prevent burglaries

Medford, Ore., — A resident sleeping inside, when thieves crept in and made off with high price items from their Medford home overnight.

Medford Police say Saturday night a home on the 1700 block of Dove Lane was burglarized.

Police say they got in through an unlocked garage door.

Thousands of dollars worth of belongings were stolen – including a 50 inch tv and a 50 cc kids motorcycle.

Medford Police are issuing a warning tonight:

“If you value your stuff, and don’t want someone creeping around inside your house while you’re sleeping, the best thing you can do is lock your door, lock your windows, and just get into the habit of checking that stuff on a regular basis.” said Sergeant Jason Antley.

One person was asleep, inside the home when the theft happened.

If you have any information on the burglary, you are asked to call them.
