Ashland, Ore. — Great news for skiers and snowboarders, Mt. Ashland has announced that they’ll extend their season.
Mt. Ashland Ski Area will be open one more weekend, Saturday April 16th and Sunday the 17th.
They originally planned to wrap up their season for good on Sunday. The ski area threw out a challenge earlier this month that if 2,000 visitors came over this weekend, they would stay open.
They fell short by nearly 700 people, but the general manager says they want to give snow lovers a bonus weekend
