Nearly 1 million pounds of breaded chicken products recalled

Oklahoma City, Okla. – Nearly 1 million pounds of ready-to-eat breaded chicken products are being recalled due to possible metal contamination.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said the recalled chicken nuggets, fries, fillets and patties were produced on various dates from December 19, 2016 through March 7, 2017.

Breaded chicken fillets sold at Walmart under the Great Value brand are among the affected products.
