Ashland, Ore., — A medical marijuana conference in Ashland is bringing out hundreds of people from around the country tonight.
The Oregon Marijuana Business Conference or OMBC brings a blend of business, activism and culture to the Rogue Valley, giving people in attendance useful information all about the marijuana industry.
“There’s a lot of miss and dis information out there, and we kind of bring people together with our conferences, and explain to them what’s really going on, and some of the nuances of what people hear.” said CEO of OMBC, Alex Rogers.
With about 700 people in attendance, Rogers hopes to spread more awareness about the cannabis industry and challenge the stigma, by helping people learn, and use the information they receive at the conference.
