Oregon ranked 4th most charitable state in U.S.

OR FlagA new analysis says many Oregonians get into the holiday spirit all year round, ranking the fourth most charitable state in the country.

That’s according to personal finance website WalletHub. The site looked at eight different criteria including volunteer rate, percentage of taxpayers who donate to charity, and number of volunteering hours.

Utah ranked number one in the analysis, followed by Maryland. California ranked number 48 while Rhode Island came in last.
