Rogue River PD breaks up alleged drug dispute

0321 rr pdRogue River, Ore. – Police say they responded to a report that someone was about to be shot in the parking lot of the Rogue Community Church in Rogue River on Friday evening.

According to the Rogue River Police Department, when they arrived at the parking lot on Pine Street at around 5:30, they found two men arguing over drugs. Police arrested 28-year-old Jacob McFadden, 32-year-old Nicholas Steven Davis, and 19-year-old Makayla Moenaert at gunpoint.

Officers say that they seized a loaded .22 caliber handgun, and a 2×4 piece of wood as evidence. McFadden and Davis were both arrested for disorderly conduct and menacing, with Davis receiving an added charge of felon in possession of a firearm. Moenaert was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm and tampering with evidence. All three subjects were booked in the Jackson County Jail.
