Washington mall shooting suspect appears in court

Skagit County, Wash. (KING/NBC) – Arcan Cetin is charged with five counts of premeditated first-degree murder after he was identified as a suspect accused of killing five people at a mall near Seattle.

Cetin did not enter a plea in court Monday, however court papers show the 20-year-old confessed to the shooting when he was arrested.

Court documents show he told authorities he brought a rifle into a Macy’s store in Burlington Friday and shot all five victims.

He was arrested Saturday evening after a manhunt.

Cetin’s bond remains at two million dollars.

The judge set another court date for October 26.

He faces 20 years to life in prison for each of the five counts against him.
