CALIF, Ore. – The Yurok tribe and several others are gathering Tuesday morning at the California state capitol in Sacramento.
It will be the first ever MMIP Day of Action at the capitol addressing the crisis and solutions for missing or murdered endangered indigenous people.
The tribe said they are focusing on 2 important pieces of legislation.
Targeting the forces behind the crisis and requested regional funding for California tribes.
